About the book
About Woods of Woe
Four teens making their way to a vacation spot stumble upon an empty parking lot that faces a forest. Their dog runs inside, but after going back for him the group gets lost in the night. Strange occurrences and intentional misfortune led them to believe they are not alone, entering into a world they do not belong. Unable to find their way out by changing geography and a shrouding canopy, fatal events diminish the hope of leaving. Bits of clarity spark attempts of escape, however, an ambiguous force seems to always be one step ahead. In order to leave, the teens will have to acknowledge their faults and sacrifice what they value most. Disrupting their effort is the fulfillment of temptation, coupled with the threat of misery. Can they exist without the safeguards of humanity, or will they succumb to the Woods of Woe?
