About White Room: A Cold War Thriller (The Jeff Fortner Trilogy)
Jeff Fortner of the CIA is back in ‘White Room’! This time, Fortner is called back into action in 1972 after a couple of relatively peaceful years of teaching agents at Langley. He travels back to the USSR to meet with an asset placed highly within the Soviet government. Before he can return to the West with the information he has learned, he is captured and will spend months in a Gulag, and then a place far worse…Meanwhile, his wife, who, unbeknownst to Jeff, is carrying their first child; is on board an airliner that is hijacked by Soviet backed Palestinian terrorists. Also on board is Jeff’s estranged father, retired CIA legend Ethan Fortner. Will Jeff escape Siberia in time to rescue his family? Will he reunite with his father? And, will he finally solve the mystery of Kuklovoda, the Russian spymaster?
