About "Whispers in the Shadows": a thriller fantasy novel 27 pages,8,5x11"

The town, named Ravensbrook, is known for its long and mysterious history, with rumors of strange occurrences dating back centuries. The forest surrounding Ravensbrook is said to be haunted, with locals avoiding it after dark. The townsfolk are superstitious, and an unsettling fog often blankets the area, intensifying the eerie atmosphere. There's an old mansion at the edge of the forest, known as the Blackthorn Manor, which has been abandoned for decades. Legend has it that the mansion holds a dark secret, and some say it's haunted by the spirits of those who met untimely and gruesome fates. As the story unfolds, an outsider comes to Ravensbrook, drawn by the town's mysterious reputation. The protagonist, a journalist or investigator, arrives to uncover the truth behind the town's dark history and the legends surrounding Blackthorn Manor. Little do they know, their investigation will unearth something far more sinister than they could have ever imagined.
