About the book

About What Goes Around

Sixty-one year old Ruth Barstow is mean, bitter, and always sticking her nose in everyone's business, including telling the local police chief how to do his job - or lose it. Though he took an oath to protect her, he's had enough of her vile, demanding attitude. She's pushed him beyond his limit, so when the opportunity presents itself, he pounces on the chance to eliminate the most hated person in town. But will Ruth succumb to his psychological terror? Or will she face the demon of her past and learn to accept she can't hide from the truth - or pain - forever? Previous version published under the pen name Christine Wilkinson.
