About What Distant Deeps
Barbarians are so classed by an extreme lack of culture, regard for human life and a never-ending quest for personal power and wealth wrenched from the hands of their victims (much as we encounter on our present day Earth). Peace has been made between Cinnabar and the Alliance with a welcome cessation of war for both - but that doesn't mean that Captain Leary and the RCN are now useless, because there are always barbarians close by waiting to prey upon those unprepared for them. The unique skills and abilities of Captain Leary, Lady Mundy and their top notch crew are called upon to take care of the problem as only they can do.
