The one we found turned out to be quite the companion, a jaguar girl with the skills to get us through the jungle while looking spectacular doing so. Did I mention that we didn’t only have to find Dayra before the Searcher found her, but that someone else was after us as well? Yeah, someone calling himself the Weaponsmaster. He apparently didn’t like it that others had called me by that name. It looked like he and I would be discussing the matter. Violently. Mutated monsters, a missing scholar, the Searcher up to his typical homicidal activities, and a martial arts master wanting to fight me to the death to keep his title? Yep, all of those things got a big fat checkmark on the list. Just another life-or-death day in the jungle.
