Violence in the Valley II: The Coroner's Table is a sequel to the original Viloence in the Valley. This book, however, is based on different murder cases, the majority of which are taken from the files of local coroners and state medical examiners who assisted homicide investigators and prosecuting attorneys bring the guilty to trial. The investigations from the autopsies to trial were conducted by the Parkersburg Police Detective Bureau along with the West Virginia State Police and many other law enforcement agencies along the Ohio River Valley. A murder committed on the Delta Queen Riverboat while in Parkersburg along with the abduction and brutal murder of Jima Ann Dotson and crime spree of Jack Hart headline dozens of other murders and unusual deaths in the valley.
