About the book

About Villain Actor Vol.2

A gripping manga set in a world where heroes protect the public… or so it seems. When a street-level cop inherits a villain’s power, the truth behind justice begins to unravel. In a world where superheroes arrive from another realm to defend humanity, the line between protector and predator blurs. Villain Actor Vol. 2, from the acclaimed team behind Volume 1 - writer Mikumo Seto and artist Kentaro Harada - dives deeper into this thrilling reversal of expectations. Ayumu Mashiro, once resigned to life as an ordinary police officer, now wields the terrifying power of Zero - the most feared villain in history. A mysterious voice guides his every move as he uncovers the unsettling truth: the heroes aren’t who they seem. In the explosive conclusion of Volume 1, Ayumu becomes Public Enemy No. 1, hunted relentlessly by the world’s vaunted heroes. Volume 2 picks up with Ayumu on the run - his reputation in ruins, powers beyond comprehension, and the fate of humanity hanging in the balance. Think The Boys ripped into a manga format: grounded, gritty, and unafraid to expose the shadows behind the capes. Remember, wielding the powers of a villain, doesn’t mean you can’t be a hero.
