About THE STONE MAIDEN PROPHECY: AN EPIC TIME TRAVEL FANTASY IN THE CELTIC FAR WEST

When eccentric archaeologist Alex Hilliard falls into the bronze age after discovering a hidden stone alignment, it is sixty years before his grandchildren follow in his footsteps. In that time, he has become part of an epic quest against the demons of ancient mythology. Befriended by a shape shifting enchantress, he becomes Kingmaker to a disavowed Guardian of the dancing stones of Stag Bwll. Pursued by the terrifying Hoaranach, they flee to the stronghold of Elegug, on, in and beneath the elemental cliffs and valleys of bronze age Pembrokeshire. It takes Alex's grandchildren and their eclectic friends though, to join the adventure in the 1980's before they step into a world being overrun by ancient demons. Even invoking fantastical spirits, a powerful sorcerer and an ancient legion of the sacrificial pool may not be enough. Lucky, then, that the seer amongst them has befriended a young woman, the only one able to save their world... "A pacey yet magical offbeat quest with beautiful environments, enchanted creatures and an unseen young woman who can harness the power of the earth itself. This unusual novel builds pace beautifully to unexpected tragedy, then regathers to a magical finale. Worth reading not just for the engaging plot but also for its evocative descriptions of both landscape and people."
