Welcome to the prequel to my psychological thriller called 'Stinging Filth and Bloody Hands'. The play starts off with Michael and Emily Liam. Both in their thirties; they have a modest living and two young children. Michael cannot understand why Emily, his attractive wife, is so unhappy in their marriage. His best friend, Jack and his wife try to be helpful and supportive, but nothing seems to make a difference - perhaps because Jack is Emily's lover. And in contrast to Michael's straightforward nature and honest career, Jack's affairs are much tangled up with crime as they are with big business. Even his sister-in-law has gone to prison upon his instructions. With added tension provided by Emily's parents and a stranger who appears to have been living in Michael and Emily's attic for days, the scene is set for a showdown. From this combination of everyday life and the unexpected and featuring a strong cast of characters and fast moving scenes, this prequel weaves a story of ruthlessness, revenge and emotion that culminates in a terrifying and shocking climax with consequences that are all too deadly for the innocent and destructive for all. Committing adultery is a dangerous game. Emily thinks it is worth it even when the blatant lies get out of control. Emily uses her deception and desperation to ruin other lives as well. Her unhappiness gives rise to many difficult and self-absorbed decisions.There are three parts to this psychological thriller series. The sequel to this psychological thriller series is called 'THE STINGING SUBTERFUGE'(3rd and last part). I hope you enjoy reading all three parts.
