The latter is accompanied in his adventures by a troupe of a dozen cloned French actors, six male and six female, with a spectrum of personalities and temperaments. This is a character-driven story with intriguing situations of a far-reaching nature, dealing with the always-cogent concepts of being a stranger in a strange land, of the origins and very nature of the Universe and the basic American concepts of life, liberty and the pursuit of anybody who wants to stifle same. It has all the prerequisite technological wonders of a story set in the future, but is here handled a little more realistically than they might be in already accepted sci-fi franchises. You will love this book.
