About The Jerusalem Gambit A Thriller
Israel faces an unexpected threat and rush to take decisive action to stop it. Major Ghassan and his small mobile cruise missile unit of the Syrian army drive around the streets of Damascus, disguised in a soft drink truck to avoid detections from the Israeli security apparatus. His mission is clear - maintaining a low profile, and keeping the newest technological advance of the Syrian army secret. However, when he gets a phone call from his father telling him they are in the custody of a Palestinian Islamic Jihad faction in their village, he is forced to choose between his family's lifes, and his love for his country. His choice will lead to a sophisticated cruise missile falling into the hands of a group that seeks revenge on Israel, or cost him and his entire family's lives. In Israel, in the meantime, after four unsuccessful elections, politicians finally manage to muster a coalition, ending a political deadlock of almost 2 years. For the first time in Israel's history, an Arab Israeli party will now be part of the government, and Nashwa Shamoon is appointed as the new Minister for Social Equality. The swearing-in ceremony for the new government is due in Jerusalem in a few days. In a region where borders are the most militarized in the world, the destiny of people remains intertwined. Israel, with its mighty Mossad, its F-35 fleet, drones of the Air Defense Force, and technological superiority, faces Palestinian factions equipped with low-tech weapons in an asymmetrical war. But when they have a cruise missile in their hands, Israel reacts with all its might to prevent an attack on its soil. But as the suspense reaches new heights, Israel realizes things don't always work as planned, and the clock is inexorably ticking towards a major disaster. Will military superiority and technology prevail and protect Israeli citizens from this attack?
