There is no reason for a young girl to be out in a storm so severe it knocked out my power and isolated me from the outside world. I know something isn't right. After she sings a song I wrote for my daughter, she promptly disappears again. An age progression photo of Riley proves Miranda is my daughter, despite her father's insistence that my solitary life has warped my mind. Following the clues Miranda left behind, I end up at the local library where I meet a man who brings the frozen parts of me back to life. With the help of the librarian and a local deputy, we search for the missing girl.
