Eighteen-year-old Melody Greene, a mute pianist, meets the handsome Dr. Ash Draco. Grief-stricken, she meets a man who looks shockingly like her father and follows him through a portal. Frustrated with communication, he removes the magic causing her muteness. When she inadvertently removes a curse from a Fenriren boy, she nearly dies from over-use of magic, but the Fenriren save her by making her one of them. Changed and tied to a new people, she finds that she has the soul of a dragon and is irrevocably connected to Ash Draco. Not fully in control of her dark powers, will she be Dejmak's savior or its destroyer?
