About the book
About The Department. - A Michael Casoni Police Thriller.
The heat is turned on in more ways than one when the Mayor's daughter is killed by a serial arsonist. The NYPD and NYFD must lay aside traditional differences to solve a crime that cuts too close to the bone. The strange thing about Chris Kindle is that he had once worked for the fire department. What his colleagues didn't know is that he was the instigator of many of the fires they fought. When the Mayor's daughter is killed, the orders sweep down through the departments. Forget 'Red Menace', the name given to a rivalry between the two departments and find this killer. But the arsonist is developing some new ideas of his own. A searing read from the author of Manhunt, Narc and Plainclothes.
