When Edgar - a Paladin of Sienna - finds the baby, he discovers a demonborn, echoes of flame still lingering about its body. He takes the child before the Church of Sienna and the High Priest. Before the Church, he argues for the life of the demonborn, going so far as to accept exile in order to watch over the child and mentor it as it grows. Before he enters exile, he Names the child. Prometheus. They remain in isolation, training the little Prometheus into a competent survivor. Edgar's hopes that they've been forgotten are shattered when years later, young Prometheus is summoned by the High Priest to participate in The Tutorial. With no other choice, Prometheus enters the Tutorial years before his time, only to find his most trusted magic stripped away. Within the Tutorial, he fights for his life, learning of life and magic.
