About The Crownix Beauty Society

Mentor. Manipulate. Devour. "I am, in the most literal sense possible, made of my best friend." In 2012, eight consultants from the MLM "The Crownix Beauty Society" hiked into the Smoky Mountains for a "life-changing" leadership retreat. Four came back. Three were found dead. One was never recovered. The official story called it a tragic accident in unforgiving terrain led by an irresponsible woman. The case was closed. But the documents tell a different story. Thirteen years later, a detective pulls the file. What he finds instead is a trail of emails that were never cross-referenced, a hand-drawn map with the wrong woman's handwriting, and four survivors whose stories match a little too perfectly. What those women did to survive was unspeakable. But how they ended up starving in the first place may have been planned. The woman they blamed is dead. The woman they called a hero is silent. And everyone who touched this case has something to hide. Told entirely through recovered documents...police interviews, autopsy reports, private emails, forum posts, and one devastating note...The Crownix Beauty Society is a psychological horror fiction novel that reads like a true crime case file you can't put down. For fans of survival horror, found footage fiction, true crime deep dives, and anyone who's ever fallen down an anti-MLM rabbit hole at 2 AM.
