About The Crown's Dog

Three friends went in search of long-lost treasure. What they found was a murder. In a forgotten corner of the Solaris castle, Jax Wendyll discovers a forgotten workroom once belonging to the mysterious and powerful Pirate Queen, Adela Lagmir. Erion Le'Dan came to the capital expecting a quiet summer with his unlikely friends-Jax and Prince Baldair. But now suddenly they're heading to the coast in search of long-lost treasure. Now the prince is hosting his one of his wild parties... Now a woman is dead in Jax's room with Adela's mark branded onto her and it's up to these three young men to find out just how much truth there is in the Pirate Queen's curse. In this story about magic, mystery, and friendships as good as gold, follow Jax, Erion, and Baldair as they uncover the truth and form the most illustrious group of knights Solaris has ever known: The Golden Guard. About the Series: The Golden Guard Trilogy is a young adult, epic fantasy, with themes of sword and sorcery and coming of age. It is composed of two short novels (The Crown's Dog and The Prince's Rogue) at approximately 50,000 words and one novella (The Farmer's War) at approximately 30,000 words. Each story is told in dual point of view. While each novel tells its own contained story and could be read on its own, it is recommended to read them in order to capture the full evolution of these characters. While it is set in the Air Awakens world, readers can begin with this series.
