About The Caltrys Chronicles: Book I

Far away in Tieria, a rebellion brews in the shadows. The High King has oppressed magic users for far too long, and his people are plotting against him. Fifteen-year-old Ember Matthews found something she shouldn’t have. During her annual family camping trip, she is separated from her parents and discovers a mysterious cave. Inside, she touches a glowing gemstone and is transported to Caltrys, a world much different from her own. After inadvertently rescuing a criminal named Levi, Ember clings to the hope that Levi can help her get home. Levi has no interest in Ember’s story—until he witnesses her raw, untamed power. Little does Ember know, her newfound ability to wield magic makes her a pawn in a dangerous game.
