A rich Swiss widow falls into the trap of a Nigerian romance scammer, falls head over heels in love with him and loses a large sum of money in a fake investment in this cleverly spun network of intrigues. When the scam is finally exposed, she courageously pursues the scammer all the way to Nigeria on her own. But then she inexplicably disappears without a trace. A hiker who finds a suspicious bag in a river in the Swiss Alps picks up her trail.
