About The Beast of Whitlock Manor: A Beauty and the Beast Retelling (Dark Crest)
The village of Edinburgh, had begun to get attacked, on the night of every full moon, by an unknown black furred beast. In an attempt to save the remaining members of the village, the village leaders decide that it would be best to bring a sacrifice to Whitlock Manor, in hopes that would quench the beast’s voracious hunger. On the night of the next full moon they put their plan into action. The plan is successful, and thus a new tradition is born. This month Everly is chosen to be the next sacrifice. She is taken up to the manor, and is left out front for the beast to devour. Everly somehow survives the beast’s attack, but meets a fate much worse than she could have ever imagined.
