About the book
About Tamelia
Life is good for Jaric of Miratain, and vice versa. He enjoys his wide travels as an art merchant and his gift for laughter has made him popular wherever he goes. But that very humor, along with his heart and insight, have caught Tamelia's eye. She's the goddess of laughter and, odd though it may seem, she has powerful enemies. Her love for a mortal is all it takes to ignite long-smoldering resentments into a conflict beyond Jaric's understanding. Now he's deep over his head in trouble. He comprehends neither his situation nor the stakes. But somehow, he'll have to discover what he, and his goddess, are truly made of. It will require every bit of his strength, his intelligence, and more than anything, his sense of humor. Tamelia is a mythic fantasy for adult sensibilities. Yes, that means sex plays a part in the story. It's largely about humor and has its fair share of funny parts, but it is not a comedy. Well, not in the modern sense anyway. Fair warning.
