The warrior spun around sharply and, with one swift movement, severed the monster's arm at the elbow, thus escaping a deadly blow. There was nowhere to go; the demons had spotted him, and one of them moved toward him. Without hesitation, Dragos rushed into the attack. The spawn of darkness, though imposing in size, proved to be very agile - it parried the sword thrust with a single skillful movement without even slowing down, and immediately launched a counterattack with its second paw, forcing Dragos to fall to the ground to avoid losing his head. He couldn't take it down on the spot, and it had no armor, so he had to either run away or act very carefully, since he had volunteered to help. As he fell, the mercenary managed to hook the demon's leg with his knife in the place where a human's tendon would be..."
