About StarLion The Rival Crusade

The gods of old were real. In fact, the great Egyptian god Horus was the forefather of such historical giants as King Tut and Cleopatra. But that was long ago; now the descendants of the gods have new jobs: superheroes. In a world where power and myth walk hand in hand, professional heroes serve alongside humanity to combat those who would use their Gifts for evil. In his second year at Fort Olympus, gravity-manipulating teen Jordan Harris is thrown into Rival Club: a high-stakes tradition that pairs cadets with their fiercest rivals in the spirit of cooperation and competition. Jordan expects challenges. He expects doubt. He doesn't expect what comes next: the world's most wanted kid hiding on campus. Now Jordan is in deep. His superhero uncle is hunting them, a shadow agency wants the fugitive back, and RVL Club-a rogue group of supervillains-sees the boy as a weapon. To survive, Jordan and his team must unite with their rivals and turn fear into the one thing true heroes need most: hope.
