About Slippers and Thorns: A Retelling of Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty (The Roumaterra Chronicles)

And they lived happily ever after…or did they? Michael and Ella thought life would be perfect after they married. True love, right? However, mixing a dutiful crown prince and a servant girl isn’t a recipe for bliss. Add a too-friendly guard, a dash of jealousy, and a mysterious, abandoned castle, and you have a recipe for disaster. Can Michael and Ella overcome their difficulties? Or will they decide that happily ever after is too much to hope for? Slippers and Thorns is a clean, no-spice romance that reimagines Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. It is the first book in The Roumaterra Chronicles, a series of interconnected, standalone fairy tale retellings perfect for readers of Brittany Fichter and Celeste Baxendell.
