About the book

About Shattered Mind

The mind is fragile. It's so delicate a single trauma can cause an entirely alternate state of being. Danny woke up in someone else's life, married to someone else's husband, and the mother of someone else's child. She no longer knew who she was, or how she'd gotten there, but she did know it wasn't where she belonged. Everyone was lying, and she couldn't trust her own mind to make sense of anything long enough to find the truth. But that's the thing about truth... it has a tendency to come out. And Danny's truth doesn't sneak out quietly. Her truth barrels its way through hell to be released and shows no mercy to monsters along the way. She hears and she sees She knows your disease You declared war And she'll settle the score You think you're smart You played a perfect part You tried to beat and break herBut her soul could still whisper When you think you've wonShe'll have just begunShe'll destroy you with grace And a smile on her face DisclaimerThis book not only mentions but revolves around sensitive subjects. If you are bothered by physical or sexual abuse this is not one for you to read. The heroine has to travel through her own personal hell before finding her way home, and the path she must take to get there is dark. Shattered Mind is a stand-alone novel sitting around 73,000 words.
