Young Melanie hid in the shadows and watched her bestfriend assaulted.and murdered. Terrified Melanie keeps this secret for twelve years and 3,000 miles. Now living in Los Angeles Melanie decides to write an article to the newspaper back east that first covered the story. The newspaper prints her article along with her address. A letter arrives one day. The killer threatens her to keep her mouth shut or else. Melanie has a couple options and the one she picks changes her life forever sending her down a terrifying road deep into the mind of a psychopath.
