About Rosemear

In 1859, on a vast tobacco plantation known as Rosemear, a triple homicide rocked the community of Savannah, Georgia. After the blood dried and the dust settled, blame for the gruesome crime was laid at the feet of a young enslaved woman named Abigail Charles. But to many, Abigail seemed far too kind to have committed such atrocities. Others insisted she was not only capable of murder but was the only one with a motive as old as time. Revenge. Nearly two hundred years after the brutal murders at Rosemear, Spencer and Isabella Boyd move their young family into the dilapidated mansion, hoping to mend after a devastating loss. Desperate for a fresh start, Isabella dives into the restorations, hoping to return the manor to its former glory. But soon after the renovations begin, phantom footsteps, eerie whispers, and strange knocks echo throughout the halls of Rosemear. And Martin appears-an invisible 'friend' only Isabella's five-year-old daughter can see. To unearth the truth, Isabella, with the help of her best friend, Luna, begins to research Rosemear's dark past, uncovering a terrifying pattern of abuse, obsession, and mysterious deaths. As she delves deeper into the home's history, Isabella is forced to confront a horrible truth... Either the skittering shadows and unexplained cries in the night are a creation of an ill mind refusing to heal, or Rosemear is, indeed, inhabited by ghosts. Ghosts who are very, very angry. And in a house thirsty for vengeance, the dead will not be silenced.
