They stumble into a terrorist plot to destroy some of Texas' treasured icons and its largest city, and to disrupt the state's economy. Lee finds a severed head in a Port Isabel marina Laundromat — and himself a target for assassination. Lee and his friends must use all their skills — electronic sleuthing, wilderness tracking, marksmanship, ocean navigation, and deduction to solve the terrorist mystery — who they are, what they want, what are their targets. Then, they must stop them before the terrorists kill Lee and complete their plan. .
