About Resolve - An Environmental Thriller Novel

When a devastating tsunami hits Guangzhou, China, hospital ship Resolve rushes in to assist the drowning city. A local police major, Huang, fights for his own life and stops at nothing to help the hospital ship, but quickly finds himself at odds with an army general who has sinister plans to seize the nuclear reactor from the ship. Should Huang follow his orders or follow his own moral code? The ship's crew must fight off the deadly forces of the Chinese rogue general and try to save the citizens before time runs out for them all. In this thriller novel, McKenney explores an important debate in today's environmental movement: Can an enterprise be driven by both altruistic goals and a desire for profit?
