About Reckless Law: An Epic Legal Thriller (Alfie Rainbird Legal Thriller Series)

When a peaceful Hamptons village is rocked by a gruesome murder, all the evidence points to one man. His only hope rests in a former prisoner—one-time legendary jailhouse lawyer, now exonerated free man: defense attorney, Alfie Rainbird. Struggling with the mental scars of incarceration and following a string of reckless altercations with colleagues, Alfie Rainbird is forced to take a sabbatical while the board of his law firm decide whether to finally cut the volatile lawyer loose. When a body turns up in East Hampton and a young waiter is charged with murder, Rainbird is given a final chance, but it has a catch—he must win this case or it’ll be his last. With the life of his client on the line and his career hanging by a thread, Rainbird must use all his connections in both the criminal and legal world as he walks a delicate path in the quest for justice and redemption. Can he uncover the truth before it’s too late? Or will a ghost from the past derail it all—putting his client behind bars and consigning Rainbird’s career to the trash?
