A modern fantasy, "Rapture" is the story of four unlikely heroes who find themselves coping with and investigating the end of the world. 33-year-old Lacey Wilkinson wakes one day to a universe in which mankind has been all but eradicated and mythological creatures now roam the familiar halls of her former life. A seemingly random sequence of events connects Lacey with three others: Ryan, a determined yet conflicted law school student, Jim, an elderly widower already trapped in a world of his own making, and Safiah, a young tech savvy girl in search of her family. Together, they struggle to come to terms with their new reality.
