Kathy lives a quiet life. She has an average apartment with an average job. That is until a black horse arrives to turn her world upside down. During a storm, the horse reveals itself to be a mystical Pegasus, who through diligent persuasion encourages Kathy to ride him. This simple trip takes Kathy to another world, where she learns the truth about herself, realizes sometimes fantasies do exist and love sometimes does ride up on chargers, though not always white ones.Just as Kathy is coming to terms with her new station in life, poisonings and death threatens to tear her new world apart. As Colin, the owner of Phantasm Ranch, tries to hold his rapidly deteriorating ranch together, it's up to Kathy to do everything in her power to save this magical place she has come to love, which in the end will mean putting her own life on the line.
