Cameron doesn't remember anything about before. When his watch resets to zero, his morning starts. Every 60-minute day is the same strict routine: push-ups, shower, dressed, elevator, car, coffee, park, work, restaurant, subway car, roof, home. One day, his routine is interrupted and everything slams to a halt. Learning he has been in a coma this whole time he's able to see the truth of the world he lives in. The empty streets and familiar places are strange facsimiles of his previous life. As his body lies in a coma, his mind has been living a lavish lifestyle at a price: his sinful memories and his autonomy. Everyday he is haunted by the sins he has committed towards his wife. Driven to find redemption he pushes forward into the madness of becoming either a soul survivor or lost soul. Cameron needs to outrun reapers, outthink the valkyrie, find redemption, complete his trial, and live through angels' attempts to make him see the reality of the situation. This isn't the first time the angels have tried but it will be their last. As Cameron's life support is coming to an end they are forced to act fast. Their outrageous actions gives Cameron pause-is he dealing with the right people? Are they truly on his side? Cameron just needs to stay one step ahead of everyone if he's going to survive running the final race for his life.
