A story of murder and mystery surrounding personal loss and betrayal set in the sometimes seedy and double dealing world of publishing in London and Dublin. Alexandra Campbell is on a journey to find out what happened to a popular novelist she knew as a child whose work was published by her grandfather's publishing house, when she discovers his obituary in the Telegraph newspaper with no mention of his books and accomplishments and a photograph this is definitely not of him. The journey leads her to Ireland, where suspicion, greed, treachery and sexual attraction conspire to throw her off the well-hidden tracks; where secrets of sex, violence and extortion amongst London's rich and famous that have been hidden for over 40 years threaten to come to light....and there are people who will do whatever it takes to keep those secrets hidden, even murder her if more subtle approaches don't work.
