About Psychedelic Detective

"Wild ride through a colorful San Francisco landscape." - Amazon review. "Not easy to pull off hard-boiled action with some light humor. I think the author pulls it off" - Amazon review. Detective Aristotle Canasta is an ex-policeman with a taste for whiskey, hallucinogenic substances and the wrong kind of women. Framed for murder by the Irish Mafia; a secret society of corrupt policemen who pull the important levers in San Francisco's Police Department, Ari seeks revenge but will he get it? Everything he doesn't know might get him killed. "A private investigator's main purpose is to discover kernels of truth hidden in the lies and deceits he encounters each day. He must feel proud of his profession but never privileged. No part of him can be soft yet he still must have compassion. There's no pension, health plan or gold ring to comfort his old age, only remembrances of the dead and the few who might be living by his actions. Dexter could not be saved and this made me angry. Angry enough to kill without a whisper of remorse." - Psychedelic Detective
