About Payback

Murder, Kidnapping and Revenge. Mobster Brian Devlin just got out of jail and it's payback time. For fifteen years, he's been in prison, plotting revenge on the man who put him there, Homicide Detective Frank Renzi. Now, he's back in South Boston with his gangster pals, ready to destroy Frank Renzi. Kill him? Eventually, but he wants Frank to suffer first. He attacks Frank's father, a federal judge. Then Frank gets a photograph of his daughter and a chilling message. A million dollars. No cops or she's dead. Frank desperately tries to find her. Soon he must make a fateful decision. Bargain for his daughter? Or attack the kidnapper with a payback plan of his own. Book 9 in the award-winning Frank Renzi series. "The coolest detective in literature today is Frank Renzi. A tremendously great series!" -- Feathered Quill Book Reviews
