About Oswald House

She dared pick the pocket of a monster. Now he's made her his next problem. In a godless city, Eleanor, a young fiendish thief with much to prove, attempts a perilous task: Pickpocket a war-forged legend known only as "The Monster." She thinks she's gotten away with it, but eyes in the shadows are watching. And The Monster? He's already two steps ahead of her petty little theft. When The Monster pulls Eleanor out of the twisted criminal underworld, she realizes too late the stakes she's playing. Suddenly, she's hurled into a world filled with violent run-ins with godlike beasts, a peculiar new home atop a roaming crab, and strange discoveries and secrets shifting beneath her feet. But when troubling news arrives, the Monster is forced to decide: Will he let Eleanor choose her fate-or determine it for her? A whimsical fiction and fantastically adventurous tale of danger, magic, and unassuming alliances, this teen and young adult fantasy unfolds against a backdrop of otherworldly wonder. It's only the beginning of a dark fantasy book series.
