About the book

About Original Sin (Bloodlines: Book One)

Bloodlines: Original Sin picks up a year and a half after the events of Hellsnake, with Detective Jake Castillo grappling with fatherhood, fractured relationships, and an old case that has returned to haunt him. When a teenager close to Jake's inner circle is found murdered, the tattoo left behind signals the return of a sadistic killer once thought buried in the past. As Jake reopens one of his most personal and haunting investigations, new threats emerge from the shadows-crime lords with vendettas, corrupt cops, and ghosts of unfinished business. With his family's safety at stake and his soul worn thin, Jake must confront the sins of yesterday to survive the war coming tomorrow.
