About Noontide

Fifteen-year-old Silas Roman just wants to graduate early with his best friend. Instead, he's attacked by a monster with spinning eyes and rescued by strangers who take him to Noontide-an island where Gennuma like him train to control their unstable abilities. Just one problem: Silas was supposed to arrive six years ago. Determined to catch up, he throws himself into training and trying not to panic every time he accidentally explodes something. But when attacks start happening again, Silas is forced to team up with the three most frustrating Gennuma on the island. With trust so hard to come by, these unlikely friends are the only ones who know the truth about his abilities, the horrible things he's done with them, and the danger he's brought to Noontide.
