About My Sister Too A Glinda Parfit Thriller

Glinda Parfit says: Cameron McDonough said I was his wife and proved it: I dealt with that. He sold cigarettes to little kids: I stopped him. He wanted me dead: I even took care of that. Then tubby, stubborn, mouth-breathing Deputy Douglas Watkins shot him dead to save me - for the electric chair. __________Glinda Parfit is a mother, a painter, and a serial killer without a memory. She says, "My life settled down after a series of unfortunate events, as they say (see my published work), and my house and car were paid for. I had the most gorgeous baby ever born, a workable therapy group and a few good friends. I even liked my neighbor and her enchanting granddaughter. Didn't remember squat about my past, but life was good and I didn't worry about it as much as I used to. "I should have. The Yellow Submarine fell onto my levee and uncovered someone's bones. I covered them up again, but the loser next door found them and all was revealed, including the levee's secret cache of thousands of illegal, unhealthy and very valuable cartons of unstamped cigarettes. Deputy Watkins loved it. "Watkins said it was all my fault. Cameron McDonough, on the other hand, was supportive. But he made me remember children who kill people and I grieved for one of their victims. I had to learn what else McDonough knew about my past. I could only think of one way; after all, he was my husband.... My virtue was saved by the discovery of another corpse. Sheee! The first body was the granddaughter's mother. The second one was her father. My gut blamed McDonough for both. Could I evade my husband? Prove my innocence to Deputy Watkins? Save my own skin? Not without involving my own, my chosen, family._________Margaret Raymond wrote her first story when she was eight and hasn't stopped writing yet. She is a retired journalist and radio broadcaster and lives in northern California's wine country.
