About Murder At The Courthouse: A Brad Shaw Thriller
Meet Brad Shaw: The distinction between good men and bad men is often defined by no more than circumstances. My name is Brad Shaw. The part of my life documented in the following pages is yet another example of the power of circumstance to alter the course of a man’s life. I am an average man who because of circumstances would become feared by many. Those who would come to fear me truly deserved the cruelest of fates. They were men who destroyed others life’s for their own pleasure and greed. A half dozen such men had come to my attention. As a result, those men, who had subjected innocent women to pain and unspeakable fear, are no longer a danger to anyone. Their absence from this world may have saved countless women from becoming victims of unspeakable cruelty and abuse, but it would not bring back to me that which I miss the most . I was not concerned with hiding their bodies. In truth, I wanted each to be found by the next man on my list. If not that, I arranged to have the corpses of the two legged animals found in such a manner that word of their death would certainly get to the men I was hunting. The one thing I had been extremely careful to do, was to keep my identity and connection to each man anonymous. When I visited justice on evil men, there was no doubt that the hand of retribution had dealt the blow. Death at my hands was neither swift nor painless. The manner of each man’s death was no less than he had earned by his own cruelty. When it was over I would never be the man I had once been. The circumstances that had brought me into contact with such a contemptible pack of animals would alter my life forever. Circumstance and loss of loved ones had transformed me into a deadly tool honed to dispense justice to those the criminal justice system was unable or clueless to deal with. There was a time in my life when I was neither good nor bad. In the telling of this story it will soon become obvious what kind of man circumstance had turned me into. The questions at this point should be “What did Brad Shaw look like as a good man? Who was the Brad Shaw before circumstances changed his life forever?” I am a son, a brother, and a man that works in and gives back to the community in which he lives.
