About MOTHMAN - Blackout Watch: A West Virginia Cryptid Horror Thriller of Grid Failure and Survival (Cryptid Chronicles)

The power is dead. The dam is cracking. The countdown has begun When a catastrophic blackout plunges Mercy Ridge, West Virginia into total darkness, former lineman Owen Vale rushes into the storm. His brother, Logan, has vanished. Logan spent years being dismissed as a paranoid fanatic, obsessively documenting a chilling pattern: whenever infrastructure fails, an enormous, winged entity with burning red eyes appears right before the collapse. Now, the entire county grid is failing in a massive cascade. A multi-county blackout has isolated the valley, an upstream dam is fracturing under the pressure, and a ruthless corporate cover-up is actively erasing the evidence—and silencing witnesses. To find his brother, Owen must face his own past and navigate an electrified, dying landscape in the absolute dark. He will soon learn that the terrifying shape hunting the ridgeline isn't the cause of the coming destruction. It's the final warning to run.
