Sir Lancelot is omitted from this tale and there are other differences with names, places and characters. Were this book written as a fresh tale with no connection to the old legends and with new character names, it would have been a very good read, but as it is, much flavor and enjoyment is lacking from the usually high quality of Ms. Norton's works.
