About the book
About Man of two worlds
"Walter Cardish was a very ordinary, somewhat downtrodden individual. But, following an incredible accident, he recovers in hospital and finds that he has been granted the power of seeing into the future. Assuming the identity of 'The Great Volta: Prognosticator' he amasses a fortune, and a reputation as a seer. But his activities also create enemies, and soon one of them tries to kill him, and the implacable workings of his strange destiny close in upon him inexorably."--Page 4 of cover.
