Doing the same thing over and over again would do Narias no good however, so his next training involved going into the Magic Dungeon. It wasn’t just so Narias could see how far he could go all by himself, but also to test his limits and help him become stronger. It was done with the supervision by the academy’s teachers of course. Unfortunately, things changed after Narias returned from his training inside the Magic Dungeon. Layla showed up to see him. As unexpected and as pleasant as it was for Narias to see her again, Layla has brought some grim news with her. She informed that Narias’ father wouldn’t be returning home, ever. Being slamstruck by such hard to swallow news, Narias secretly runs away into the Magic Dungeon to wrestle with his sorrow on his own, as well as, use the time to come up with a plan what to do in order to find out what actually happened to his father. While inside the Magic Dungeon, Narias blasts himself through the hordes of monsters, eventually reaching the fifth floor where he meets a strange yet mysterious monster. As so it happens, the half-monster half-woman resembling creature looked to be severely injured and was in need of healing. Narias is not one of those people who wouldn’t lend a helping hand, so he does everything he can to save its, or her, life. Unfortunately, the mysterious demon-woman doesn’t jump on Narias’ neck to thank him after being saved, but attacks him instead. Maybe it was a mistake on Narias’ part to save her after all? Disclaimer: Magic Dungeon Academy Volume 9 is the ninth book in the series, which includes isekai fantasy, magic, school life, dungeon exploration, unconventional (harem) relationships and some adult sexual content.
