Christina Marvella has the desire to become the next star of the musical world. She's a talented singer who's been working on her dream for fourteen years, writing songs and performing for the church in her hometown of Englewood. Meanwhile, Dwelling in darkness because of the life he's living, Jacob Stanley wishes for it all to end. He's married to a woman named Tiffany who prefers the money that he makes over the love that he could give. They have a son together, little Billy the Kid who Jacob considers to be a curse given to him from the moment he was born. Jacob believes his family is holding him back from living the life that he truly wants to live, and to make matters worse there's a strange humming noise inside his head that's been driving him crazy; a noise that's breaking his mind and will eventually cause his life to spiral out of control. While Christina's life seems to be bright and filled with joy, Jacob's life seems to be dim and filled with sadness. After all hell breaks loose in Jacob Stanley's world, he's drawn to the beautiful soul known as Christina Light Heart, which will end in a terrible confrontation.
