'Leveling Lawyers' is the third novel in The Martinique Files series, and it brings the two environmental attorneys, Tawny Martinique and Billy Solomon, and their largest client, Ken Shelton, to the California coast. The underwater lab moves to the area to observe the effects of fracking in the ocean on sea life. Back home, Tawny and her best friend and roommate encounter the local thug who decides to tear them to shreds after they escape his initial seduction. Billy must do all he can to protect the two girls, and enlists the help of Tawny's new love interest, Drew. While in hiding, much to the chagrin of Drew, Billy hopes to win Tawny back and insists that his premier associate must learn to face her fears and litigate.
