The little butcher's assistant with the unfortunate nickname of Beetle believes he must be due a change of luck and a change of fortune. When the offer of becoming a 'killer-for-hire' is made to him he grabs it. His first attempt at murder goes disastrously wrong, leaving him afraid for his life and with two bodies to dispose of. Then fate lends a hand and his victims seem to be falling over themselves to die for him.
