About Jinxed

"In the kingdom of Corwin, magic is strictly forbidden. For fifty long years, King Visio has ruled Corwin, making sure magic could not thrive. So on the testing day, nothing seems out of the ordinary when a young orphan named Jinx is discovered to have magic. Taken from the only home she’s ever known and living in terrible conditions with others like her, Jinx just tries to stay out of trouble. But trouble seems to find her. As she bonds with her fellow outcasts and secretly learns to use her powers, Jinx will uncover secrets about her magic, her past, and the kingdom she calls home. It seems that there is more to the story than anyone realized. In her fight for freedom, it may be that the fate of Corwin hangs in the balance. Will Jinx be strong enough to find the truth and free the Magics... before it’s too late?"--Amazon
